《锻刀大赛第一季》剧情简介
节目于纽约布鲁克林拍摄。参赛者会在“锻工坊”里进行铸刀，内备各式金属加工器械、丙烷锻造设备、煤锻造设备、动力锤、研磨机、液压机。在每一轮淘汰赛的结束阶段，打造的武器被评为最差的锻造师会被淘汰并离场。现场有医疗人员从旁协助，以便处理任何因为锻造而产生的伤害或其他健康问题，若他们认定某些参赛者无法再安全地参赛，他们也有权让参赛者退赛。在第一回合里，四位匠人会取得他们必须用来打造刀刃的原始材料，一般他们拿到的是事先由节目单位准备好的同样的材料；而某些时候会让他们从各种物品中自行选择材料，或是必须从诸如汽车、除草机或一个废铁堆里等情况中辨别并取出可用的材料。主持人会列出关于刀刃的尺寸标准与特殊限制，而刀匠们则画下他们的草稿。...
